Salty Philadelphia Cheese And Vegetable Pie

The Philadelphia cheese and vegetable salty cake is a very simple dish that you want to try and that is a great way to eat vegetables that children and adults will love.

Option 1: Savory Philadelphia Cheese and Veggie Pie

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of Philadelphia cheese (or similar)
  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 zucchini
  • 4 sheets of neutral gelatin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp. tomato jam
  • Walnuts

Process:

  • First, hydrate the gelatin sheets for 10 minutes in cold water.
  • Secondly, simmer the milk together with the cheese and stir until melted.
  • Season to taste.
  • When it starts to boil, remove from heat and add the previously drained gelatin leaves.
  • Mix then and let it temper. Reserve.
  • Besides, prepare the vegetables. Chop the carrot into very small cubes and also cut the zucchini, but removing the greenest parts. Reserve.
  • Then whip the cream until it doubles in volume.
  • When the cheese mixture is warm, introduce it little by little with the cream, stirring carefully.
  • Later add the chopped vegetables and mix.
  • Then carefully pour into the mold and smooth the surface. Let cool in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • When it’s cold and the gelatin is set, top with some tomato jam and some walnuts and voila!

Option 2: Savory zucchini pie with ham and cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 large zucchini
  • 1 spring onion
  • 8 thin slices of ham
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 slices of sliced ​​bread without crust
  • 8 slices of Havarti
  • 100 ml of liquid cream
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Process:

  • Second, peel the zucchini and cut it into slices.
